This bell comes to us from John Taylor Bell Foundry.

It is from Edderton in Scotland.

The bell has 2 cracks coming from the old cast in staple.

One of the cracks extends well over the shoulder and through the inscription band.

There is also a crack that runs through the centre of the canons.

This has been ground out and will be repaired when the bell is welded.

Dye penetrant tests before and after welding
